This is the jewelry box for anyone, who wanted to be the Little Mermaid, when they were little. The velvet exterior is soft, the inside lining is silken, it is everything I want from a little jewelry box.

I tend to just throw this in my tote when I go away for a weekend. It is perfect to throw in your bag to switch out jewelry or hold your belongings if you need to take them off. I have a bad habit of taking off rings throughout the day, with this in my bag, I now store my rings in the seashell.
